I'm Gianluigi Nuzzi, host of "Quarto Grado" since 2013 with Alessandra Viero. "Quarto Grado" is committed in every episode, every day of the week, to the fight against gender-based violence. And this has been our banner since the first episode, because there's not only physical violence, there's economic violence, there's psychological violence.
In short, many forms of violence against women are addressed, and I believe that television must tell these stories. Of course, with a popular language, accessible to everyone, but with a perspective that these things don't happen again. I believe that "Quarto Grado" has made this "its campaign, its essence".
Then there's also an aspect, obviously, that extends throughout the week, because too often we're contacted by women who ask for help. And so, help is given when possible. Women who may be afraid to report, women who fear fathers and children and do report.
Here, we need to convey warmth and also provide, when possible, tools to continue that process of liberation, to break free from the violence they suffer. The choice of language also becomes a key to open the hearts of those who listen to us. "Quarto Grado" does all this, and we've been doing it since 2013, and we will always continue to do it.
