Luana Ravegnini

For many years now, I have been anchoring the in-depth health TV show, Check-Up, on Rai Uno.
Prevention and awareness are two fundamental tools for increasing individual and collective wellbeing. In particular, I would like to say that breast cancer prevention is an act of love towards oneself and towards the future. From our side, as communicators, promoting early diagnosis, self-examination and regular check-ups means giving people the tools to take care of their health and make a difference in the fight against disease.

Through Check-Up, the medical and scientific outreach TV show I conduct, we are dedicated to spreading clear messages on these topics. Together with specialists, we break down taboos and offer concrete tools to prevent and tackle these challenges. I firmly believe that information is the key to building a more mindful and solidarity-based society, where respect and care for life are at the hearth of every choice.

In parallel, it is crucial to address the topic of gender-based violence, an invisible wound that deeply marks the lives of too many people. Raising awareness on this issue means not only informing, but also offering support, creating places where people can be heard, giving a voice to those who often go unheard.
